Dr. Simeonsson is an associate professor in Pediatrics and Public Health at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University (ECU). She has had numerous clinical responsibilities which include work in county health departments as well as providing telehealth for several school systems eastern NC. Currently she works with residents and medical students in the ECU pediatric outpatient center and at the Greene County Department of Public Health. She also teaches several graduate level courses in the Department of Public Health at ECU. She has worked closely with the Healthier Lives at School and Beyond School-based Telehealth Program serving children and staff in three rural counties in eastern North Carolina for 5 years, and looks forward to expanding opportunities for residents and health professional students to learn about telehealth.
