Randl Dent, PhD is a Research Scientist at the Fitzhugh Mullan Institute for Health Workforce Equity at George Washington University. Broadly, her previous work focuses on improving the mental health and well-being of Black Americans, with a specific focus on Black college students and emerging adults (aged 18-29). Dr. Dent’s current research interests include diversity and equity within the behavioral health workforce, access to behavioral health care, and organizational interventions to reduce burnout and improve workplace experiences among health and public safety workers. She is currently a lead researcher with the HRSA-funded Health and Public Safety Workforce Resiliency Technical Assistance Center, also known as the Workplace Change Collaborative (WCC). She holds a PhD in Health Psychology and MS in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University as well as a BA in Psychology from Washington and Lee University.
