Miranda Harris Martinez is a third-year medical student at the University of Minnesota. She grew up between South Florida and Ecuador, and has made her home in the Twin Cities for the past decade. She was drawn to medicine as she believes to work in health care is to work at the intersection of biology and culture. Her passions include promoting health equity, single-payer advocacy, and language justice for immigrant communities.
