Mirela Bruza-Augatis, PhD, PA-C has a background in physician assistant education, primary care, and global health initiatives. She obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University – Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and recently completed her PhD in Education Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University (New Jersey). She is a research scientist at the National Commission on Certifications of PAs and an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University's PA Program.

Additionally, she is a practicing PA at Hunterdon Family Medicine–Your Doctors Care in New Jersey, and a board member for PAs for Global Health. Her expertise in family medicine, combined with a passion for healthcare workforce research and serving under-resourced populations, reflects a comprehensive approach to health that is both local and global in scope.

Born and raised in Albania, Mirela's international background further enriches her contributions to global health initiatives, emphasizing her commitment to improving healthcare access and quality worldwide. Her career path exemplifies a multidimensional approach to health that integrates clinical practice, education, and research.
