Heather Mountz, MPH, CPH, Program Coordinator and Clinical Associate at Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON) manages the DUSON Community Health Improvement Partnership Program (D-CHIPP). She has a Master of Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill with a focus in public health leadership and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Mount Union. Heather has over 24 years of experience working in the public health sector where her work has centered around many of the social determinants of health including access to health care, physical and built environment, and poverty to name a few. She also co-teaches two courses in the Master’s program and an independent study elective.
